Good Thursday to you all. For those interested in my football analysis I point you to my post this morning on Arseblog News pleading for Arteta to get his first call-up to the Spanish national team.
For those of you looking for something of a more prurient nature I point you too this video of Crystal Palace’s cheerleaders doing the Gangam Style dance thing that my best friends forever posted on Fitba Thatba. I’m not a fan of dance music so, I just turned the music down and let the Cheerleaders rope my “heart” with their wonderful dance.
I applaud Crystal Palace and their use of cheerleaders. This is something that English football could learn from American football.
As for the other videos..
Here are some Arsenal clips from our friends at the YESNetwork.

Close range shot by Olivier Giroud misses to the left of the goal in the 91st minute. (Arsenal’s final chance in the 2-1 loss)
Cheerleaders? Don’t even suggest them. They’re part of USA culture that we (in the UK) mostly don’t get.
Sure you do. Think “page 3 girl.” It’s pointless, gratuitous, etc., but entirely in keeping with the overall context of entertainment (I mean, I’m assuming we all read The Sun for entertainment purposes only, right? RIGHT?).
My wife saw me watching this, rolled her eyes and said, “what are you 15? This is so adolescent and dumb and gratuitous”. To which I replied, “And your point is?…” Anyway, Crystal videos are welcome anytime. Keep up the great work.
In other news:
1. Checked into http://www.ebuzzing.co.uk/ as to why 7amkickoff is not ranked. Apparently you feed is registered with them but is not indexed. You may start to show up in the rankings after November 5th if they fix the indexing issue, which they said would do. If you don’t show up, I recommend you and all your followers, send a note to info@wikio.co.uk, requesting that the feed be indexed ASAP.
2.. Speaking of “heyyyy, sexy ladies…”, The Arsenal Ladies DID it! A big shout out to them for the double and for making the mighty Arsenal the only club to have ever had both men’s and women’s senior squad’s go undefeated for a season. Fantastic stuff.
3. If you haven’t seen this, check it out: http://news.arseblog.com/2012/10/arteta-interviews-cazorla-for-as-awesomeness-ensues/
Brilliant little piece in which our two Spanish midfielders “interview” each other, and while we all feel for Mikel in that he’s has no cap for his country, we are all hugely relieved that it’s one less body we have to worry about returning healthy.
Yeah, while I’m sure Mikel is personally disappointed and would jump at the opportunity to play for Spain internationally, from a purely selfish point of view I like that one of our most important players gets to rest and recover during the interlull. As an added bonus, he avoids the inevitable injection of Barca DNA.
Argghh…Gagnam style…this has got to stop.:P
OTOH..Cheerleaders, one of the best things to come out of America! At risk of sounding sexist which is what it is), I’d be watching more women’s footymatches if that was the attire.
When do we get some of this at the Arsenal? Someone suggest it please….our mascot is a bit of a dinosaur.:D
Sexist? Cheerleading builds a sense of teamwork and it’s a great workout… And by workout, I mean practice being the “good gal who’s always supportive of the man, who’s doing the real work” and the “mindless harem thingy desperately awaiting the penis pleasure of whatever alpha male she’s screaming about.”
I’m so bitter I wasn’t a football player. I would have loved to have perpetuated those stereotypes. Instead, I played Dungeons & Dragons and learned Metallica songs on the guitar. Why couldn’t they have D&D cheerleaders?
You might be good at tracking beasts
You might be good at spells
But when it comes to Caramon’s sword
You might as well step back
Might as well step back
Say what?
You might as well step back
Can’t hear you
Might as well step back
Gooooooo Caramon!
Everything is basically porn.
Food TV = Food porn
Cheerleaders = Sports porn
Sports = Gay porn
Your post = D&D Nerd and Feminist porn
The most amazing thing in the cheerleader video is that they have a cabinet with trophies in it.
It took until only the second day of the interlull for the media to come up with a completely nonsense Arsenal transfer rumor: Llorente. Wow! Does this mean we’re selling Giroud in January? Quite honestly, I’d be depressed if I had to make up this kind of shit for a living.
I’m going to do two parody articles tomorrow
Even more ridiculous, I think Radamel Falcao is also in the rumour mill. I hope you add his mention to your parody.
The first will be a parody of the outrageous headlines we see all the time about Arsenal.
The second will be the dumbest “warchest” article EVER.
Hopefully I can subvert the dominant narrative and make it my bitch.
Why cant we have more cheerleeders in football? I believe that will give us the edge over both Manchester clubs. London girls are much hotter, and they have better dentists. I mean these Crystal Palace girls are perfect examples. Thank you Tim for sharing this video.
What was it Chas and Dave (Spuds though they be) taught us about “London Girls”?
Crystal Palace pale imitaion of Oregon’s Duck. Either called “Donald” or “Puddles”. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDpgzn7KuzE
For all those who like to correct Tim on pronunciation…the stage is set
Thanks for the videos..
I’ll support Crystal palace to promotion with all my heart from now on..
The absurdity of Arteta not making to spanish squad is magnified when you see
a) that Xabi Alonso has 104 appearances for Spain…a player while playing at the same time as Arteta has lesser U21 appearances for Spain…!!! I guess Mikel was on the wrong side of the river to be noticed..
b) Marcos Senna got spanish citizenship at the age of 30 and represented spain in the 2006 WC, and went on to make 28 caps.
c) They still have space for people like Bruno Soriano to have 4 caps..
May be these guys are more defensive than Arteta and for creativity sake they have other people…but then…still no caps is not fair to his talent..
